iD; adding the I to the issue, but solving it together.
A number of people living in Scotland are vitamin D deficient and are not aware of it. Helga Rhein, a GP in Sighthill Edinburgh, has over a long period of time noticed the problem and lobbied for change. She is now trying to improve the situation by informing her patients and other GP’s on the simplicity and the benefits of taking vitamin D supplements.
iD or ‘I take Vitamin D’ is the social media campaign lead by Helga and a number of volunteers from Queen Margaret University. It encourages all people living in Scotland to join the public debate, share their stories and inform one another of the positive changes after taking Vitamin D supplements.
